An ending and a new beginning

Hey guys!
I hope you do remember me!
Well, in any case, I haven't forgotten :D
Its been a rollercoaster of sorts here. Recently relocated to Bangalore. . . . .

After a long time, and a lot of failed attempts to return to blogging, I have finally made one more attempt.
However,
There are changes that one desires in life. So do I.
I have switched over to Wordpress now. That goes on to mean that this post is the last one at http://SilentRecollections.blogspot.com.

Not the end of the road though!

My blog now continues in wordpress,
at SilentRecollections.

As many of you know, I’ve been off the blogging world for a loooong time. It’s been too long, really. Whom can I blame, but myself? I’ve kept myself too busy, even though I did have some time to kill every now and then. . .

I blog this drivel just because of a tiny game of chance life played with me today. . . Wanna know exactly what it was?

I was, (as usual) surfing the net aimlessly, when I happened to click on the blogger link in a page by mistake. Usually, the sight of my blog centre with 0 comments to moderate puts me off but today was different . . .

There was a comment on my last post! That really felt Intriguing, so I decided to look it up. . .

Of Delays and more Delays

Here I am again, after a long long break. . . . .
I have always asked myself the same old question many a time. . . .
"Why am i not back on blogger?"
The answer presents itself to me from an ever-weary corner of my mind . . . .
"You dont have time to do all that now . . ."
what makes me so very busy that i cant even post a single paragraph, a verse or a line ?

Is it the time consuming studies? Is it the ever-busy schedule i've drawn for myself?
or is it just that i've drifted away from the idea of blogging?
The answer, it seems, is a complex one.
Never before have i felt so much of an urge to begin writing again, as if an age old ghost beckons me towards my pc, persuading me to continue typing, from word to word, letter to letter, key to key . . . .
Maybe i'll be back here again, in an hour, a month or a day . . hoping to hear from ppl i've lost touch with, ppl who i still hope like to read me.

Hi Everyone,

    I've been quite busy the last few months. . . . first, there was this College Fest which needed handling, and just as that was coming to a very successful end, the exams sneaked up on my like they always do. Needless to say, i've been pretty much offline in the last 2 months and more, only twittering occasionally to some of my fellow tweeters. :)

    I'd love to thank Vinay (Leo) for helping me out and posting my works when I myself could not. Good friends are hard to come by in today's world, and its little things like these that remind you of that fact, don't they?

    It's been quite a while since I visited any of the blogs that i have become so very attached to over the last year. Most of you guys are probably quite mad at me for this. . . .(as Farah was Oh! so kind to remind me the other day, by offering to wring my neck! Such a sweet gesture.... :D ) Don't get me wrong! I am sure I deserve that, as its really been that long.

    Well, heres the deal. I'll make a comeback on 20th of june, 2009, and i'll visit EACH AND EVERY BLOG I've missed out on so far. So please forgive me and wish me luck,

I raised my sights, a bit too late

Disentangled the self, from the ropes of fate

Tired, unearthly and filled with hate,

I start my climb to thee

As I float high above, the skies so vast

Blue birds, they speed into naught, so fast

In ascension, they remind me, of my true past,

As I rise High o’er the sea!

I see you now, on your golden throne,

From the cell wherein you’ve had me thrown

I now lament, “If only I’d known!!”

That this was meant for me!

My Heaven, My Hell, is all but one

I’m fried and strung, for the sin’s I’ve done

Now I repent, but time stops for none,

And I Struggle to break free

A friend I wished to be,

As I drowned in my own fateful rhymes,

My thoughts weighed in on me

I felt too lost; too numb, I knelt,

I felt just as lonely,

As lonely as she must have felt,

The day she had left me

She’s Gone! She’s Gone! I said and wept,

My tears just knew no end,

My cries were soft, yet so well kept,

In a heart that would not mend

Time thus passed like a silent curse,

My cries, I stifled out,

But things soon went from bad to worse,

My cries had turned to shouts

Maybe that’s why my pain was heard

And someone did respond,

Just when I thought my end had neared,

My life seemed like reborn!

I opened out, like I never could,

She made me feel consoled,

She watched me, like a mother would,

She watched my life unfold

Her open arms I sought and found,

I rested there and cried,

She brought me back to my rebound

Her love, personified!

She found in me what I had lost

My vision she restored,

What I thought could never mend,

With love, it had been cured

“She’s now too far” some say to me,

But that is so untrue,

For when I close my eyes and see,

I find her, true and true.

A Promise Kept

Hey There People!!

The story Below is my Entry to the Ascension Short Story Contest taking place at Clarity of Night.
Would Love to have your Feedback on it

A Promise Kept

I rushed to the ICU ward of the Hospital as fast as my legs could carry me. It was almost daybreak. Twenty minutes ago, I had received the doctor’s call, confirming that the time had now come. That which I had been dreading; that which I had hoped would never happen; had now come to pass.

Like the dog afraid of his own shadow, I ran towards her.

The ward came to view. Like a pale ghost, I slowed down to a standstill. The door was ajar. She was looking right at me.

She seemed to be looking right through me, as though she knew of every thought and emotion tormenting my mind. She had that smile on her face; that carefree smile that even months of chemotherapy had failed to wipe out. Her smile seemed to be telling me something.

But I just couldn’t place it.

The doctor came out just then. With an apologetic voice, he said “I’m so sorry, son. She succumbed just a few minutes ago. A brave fighter. God rest her soul.”

He walked away.

Terror tore at me and my insides seemed to shrivel up.

“That means . . . . . her eyes . . . . . Oh God!”

She knew I’d come. She kept waiting for me till the very end. Tears leaked out of my eyes. But I held strong. I kept her promise. I never cried.

And I realized that she knew it.

Her smile told me that.

Hello there, guys!!
A small note bfore continuing. . . .

As many of you very well know, I have been experimenting quite a lot now in these hols with PhotoShop. Fiddling, I like to call it.

Well, now I have gone on and decided to do something of it. Make it a little bit more productive. I have started a blog for my little amateur artworks, and this blog is now ready to go public.

It has been a while since I ever posted a poem online, so here’s one.

It’s been a while since I saw her smile,

And dance in harmony,

I’ve seen her cry her pretty eyes out

One time too many

Her Love she lost in saddened plight,

As evil fate would see,

I saw her tears run down her cheeks

In silent testimony

“She’s healed by now” I hoped to be

But that’s untrue I see

For she has shunned us me out her life,

Like a pecker does it’s tree

It hurts me too to know her plight

And still sit quite carefree

It hits me when I see her smile

While inwardly she bleeds

I hope she finds herself again,

Her old spirited smile

For that’s what I patiently wait

Her love could go a mile!

Dont even ask where that came from!

Just me and my silly rhymes. . . . I guess . . .

Celebrations Ahoy!!

Around half a year ago, I happened to receive a call from one of my very good friends from college days (One of very few, now that I come to think of it…). We chatted around, about old times, and then something pleasant happened. We found out that we both harbored a passion for a thing of beauty. Poetry, we called it.

And then, he said, “Hey! Why don’t you publish them on the Internet, Like I did?”

That was the opener for me. For Silent Recollections. And that’s how Vinay, a budding poet, writer, engineer-to-be, and most importantly, a very good friend of mine…. Heck, The best friend I have, managed to fill up enough inspiration into lazy old me to create this blog.

But that’s not all that Leo deserves credit for.

I have been going through a pretty hard time this year through, and Vinay has been like a life support system for me, literally.

Leo, I could never thank you enough, mate.

You’re the divine intervention that saved my fate,

Don’t wanna let go of you, at any rate,

Coz you taught me the meaning of “Never too late”!

It’s been a journey past compare! I’ve had many happy moments in my life, but none have ever even come close to this. Today, I post my 5oth post at Silent Recollections. It’s a sweet moment, and Its time to do something that I’ve been putting off for quite some time now.

Last Christmas, I’d never envisioned even in the wildest of my dreams that I’d be a “somebody” out here online. Today, the ghost of an alternative reality haunts me more than ever. It’s been a great time here, and I’ve got a lot of thanking to do.

You see, I had my birthday on the 5^th of this month (As you guys very well know!!), but since the exams were on, I did not get down to celebrating it . So, today, Its going to be a double celebration Party!!!

But before that, let me say something that’s been bugging my mind. The Mumbai disaster has opened many eyes, and that’s most visible in the world of bloggers. I’d like to thank Everyone here, who raised their voices in their own ways, as and when possible, to condemn terrorism. Remember, that we are the future, and so to see a change in our future, we must ourselves change.

I made this plaque, as a reminder and a declaration, against terrorism. I’d be much obliged if you guys put this up on your blogs, and passed it on to the others too.

Quite a number of times, I was awarded appreciative awards from people, which I could never pass on due to time constraints. I got many gifts from readers and well wishers and well wishing readers alike! So its time to declare those assets!!! :D

The Rains Are a'coming!!

The winds are strong, and I can feel the salty taste on my skin. It has been a long time coming, but I know it wouldn’t hold out any longer. After all, it’s the monsoon season!

The monsoon in this area has always fulfilled its promises. I would know. I’ve lived here all my life. All 6 years of it.

It’s been an awesome time here. I’ve had my good days and I’ve had those adventurous ones too. Youthful, unbridled joy comes to mind when I see those beautiful blades of grass, fresh in anticipation of the shower they are about to receive. I can even smell the mud. . . . You know, that wet mud smell that comes before every shower. It heightens my pleasure to think of the amazing feast we all will have once the rain stops. My pot belly grumbles; as though its angry, wishing the rain would start; almost willing it to start.

Though it’s been good, I’ve had my share of problems too. Like that time when the ugly neighbor kid who loved to chase around the poor butterflies with a net, spotted me, and decided to have some ‘Real Fun’ that day! He sneaked up and struck out at my leg when I was not looking, forcing me to hop and jump and scream in absolute pain! Thank God his mom called him just then. Another time he had almost poked my eye out with that death stick. Mom did tell me not to visit him or his garden thereafter. “An evil kid he is. I don’t want you anywhere near him. Do you understand? I guess I have to listen to her once in a while. . .

Now It’s time I did what all of us have to do. The monsoon demands it of us. I’m not complaining of course. To be frank, I’m rather proud of the job they gave me. It’s an honor after all, to be the harbinger of Good Times!

There! I see thunderclouds approaching! Just the look of those menacing clouds brings joy to everyone’s hearts! My voice is louder than an elephant’s trumpet, they say! (I can’t be sure though; Never met one of those mammoths!)

Now step aside, dear! Let me do my job!

So here goes:

The Blue Bird

The bird, so blue, it perched the cherry tree

Sang me some songs of perfect harmony

Told me a tale, it told so very few

Cast me a glance, that rendered me anew!

Came along the way, a hunter I despised

“I come for your bird” His eyes so searched and pried

His eyes, like a hawk, discerned the bluish plume,

My hands were bound so tight, I was unable to stem the doom

He snatched my bird, in front my very eyes

He plucked its plumage off, &ate it raw with rice

He burnt its feathers, and yet I couldn’t move

Then vanished from my sight, and left e here in gloom

That bird, now gone, my true lament began,

From valley to gorge, with tireless feet I ran,

For the vile hunter searched I, and sought him out at last

But my lands he’d long crossed, reminded me my past

That bird was none other, than our freedom, O brother,

The safety that was gifted by our very own doting mother

A leader or m’be two, we are now left to blame,

Awaiting that one day when we all meet again

Are we so guileless? We who sit here, all,

Witness our own mother breaking from the fall?

Her blood being spilled in the night; undercover

Blind and yet we see, her silent ways of suffer?

Is this the famed patience we daringly uphold?

Is this the startling way, our future will unfold?

Will not we fight for our sweet bird once so blue?

For want of our true rights; OUR FREEDOM? OUR DUE?

This has been on my mind ever since the Mumbai Attacks last month. We are racing towards the end of this year, But can we look back one day and call this year a great one?

I don't think so.

I ask today this question to every Indian, who has witnessed the attacks:

The Day The Rain God Smiled... A little Too widely( :( )

It was the day of reckoning. Ramu had hoped this day would never come. But had seen, with mounting dread in his heart, the tall yet swarthy mustached man go on and on about it all on master’s television screen about 3 days ago.

The master was a great man, thought Ramu. Who else in this large city would have taken a village boy into their house for work and to earn their keep?

At least this is better than staying in the village and dying of hunger, like his elder brother chose. The villagers had suffered worst from the draught. They’d done every possible pooja, (some sacrifices too) but to no avail.

Untill 2 weeks ago.

It had rained. It had rained cats and dogs, like it was the most natural thing to happen after 10 long years of draught. But it did not stop! It kept pouring like INDRA was paying them for their patience, with interest, all at once. As though he was trying to make up for what he’d missed in the past decade.

At first, they thought it to be a blessing. They started getting uneasy however, once the dam, the dry bed of thorny bushes, began to actually overflow.

Suddenly, it all seemed to be more a curse than a blessing.

Ramu’s heart skipped a beat when he heard the name Saharanpur. Almost cricking his neck, he turned to see the sight on the screen that he would never forget.

He was looking at the areal view of a tiny village.. or whatever was left of it. Bits of rubble, A roofless house, a trunk floating on the enormous expanse of water…. Ramu turned away.

But that did not stop his ears from listening to what the reporter was saying:

“….village was completely washed off. It was the only village that stood directly in the path of the water when the dam broke. There are only a handful of survivors. The CM has promised to visit soon. The authorities are still trying to figure out why the dam did not hold through this unseasonal rain when it successfully braved the earthquake last year….”

“You can’t ever trust those damned fools to do anything right, those fools. It’s too late now, boy, you go to sleep now. “

A tear dropped down Ramu’s cheek, just as the rain started splattering the window panes…..

21 and Climbing!!

Its been a while, my friends, and I seek your forgiveness. To tell the truth, I’ve been going through a rough spot on the road called life…..Exams do that to every one …. But things are now looking up.

Its been a surreal experience, and I've Loved it.

I’m thankful to Leo, for his unwavering support and friendship. I couldn’t thank him enough. Coz without him, I’d be …… to be frank, I’d not BE at all!!

I’ve turned 21 today…… sounds incredible to me, really, and I’ve got many instances that indicated to me, that I’d not see this day. But here I am!!!

My exams are almost throttling me here, so I wont be online for a while.... But if I find the time, you'll find my comments here or there....

And I’m Thankful.

A few years ago on this very same day was born…a smile! Yup, Sid for me is a smile…that shows up on your face and mine.

My first impression of him- wow! This one's such a happy guy, must be very much contended with life! Wish I were like him.

For a person of his ability, Sid is quite modest. This I had known when I came to his blog for the first time. Obviously had to blogroll him, to know the other side of his happy self.

As time passed, his blog gave me an odd feeling that there's a different side to this smiling guy. A little depressing one. But tell me how many of us manage to smile and also bring it on others faces even when we are sad? How many of us can hide our emotions and still keep that smile glowing on our faces? Sid does it; at least he makes me feel so.

Each time I see his rhyming comments on my blog I say to Lena- "Janu, Sid is soo cute, he never fails to make me smile. Go read his comment NOW!

Lena could never agree more on that.

You might get a hundred comments on your blog. Some sweet, some very sweet but a few comments have the power of leaving lasting effects. They come flashing by your mind even after you switch of your computer! Such are sid's comments. They make me smile while reading and even after.

Sid, you are like a baby to me coz you bring as much happiness as a just-born baby does. One among those people who make my life EASY. And maybe….not JUST mine!

So keep smiling always coz when you do…even we do ;) and I know you would always want us to smile.

I know its time for smiles and maybe you're being a lil emotional (Considering that you become teary-eyed very easily ;) ) but I know sometime later when you remember this post (maybe on your next birthday!!), you will smile :).

By the way, best of luck for your exams. Take short breaks in between and study without losing heart…after all exams don't last forever but they do give us one momentous life ;)

Our Wrath Incurred...

Lowliest of the low, empowered with guns,

You rampaged upon your whims, oh evil unworthy ones

You have struck again, but no more do we sorrow

Our hearts are all aflame; we leave you no time to borrow

We pity your lives, oh murkiest of grime,

Your numbers are too swollen, too submerged in crime

You fight for a cause that only a demon could think up

Your insignificance pronounced, by the ways that you've fucked up.

Your end shall soon be nigh, do keep this in mind,

My blood you have spilled; I shall repay in kind,

I’ve waited long enough, diplomacy be damned!

Its time to bring you down, with all you have in mind

Today, many have lost their loved ones. Many have felt the rude reallity that is becoming India.

My condolences to all those wronged families.

Once more, today, we find ourselves asking the same, age old question….. When will this end? Will we ever be able to breathe freely in our own country, without the incessant fears of having our heads and bodies blown off into non-existence if ever we had the nerve to step out of our houses?

When will parents be able to send their children confidently without fear, to watch the occasional new movie that’s hit the theatres? When will a wife be able to confidently say, without doubts that her husband (who has a job with the police) is safe and will be coming home for dinner?

Where has the “free” part of our “Free Country” gone to?

A couple of days back, terror struck again, putting the whole nation onto tenterhooks. We saw with our own eyes, the destruction 20 demonic brainwashed psychopaths caused within 6 hours. Where do we stand now?

Somewhere out there, a really demonic entity is laughing its head off. At our inability to reply to their atrocities.

When will the common man’s life become terror free? When will come the day, when Headlines will read: “India Replies to Terror, and How!”? When, will we finally wake up and answer the taunts that terrorists are so easily executing right under our very noses?

WHEN WILL OUTRAGE MORPH INTO ACTION?

Its high time to wake up.

Hope someone in the higher echelon is listening.

Hope, however has not died. We have seen, as Mayz puts it, the wounded city springing back, like a phoenix rising from the ashes. I salute the citizens of Mumbai.

My mind does yearn to feel the love

The truth - It lies beyond our lives,

Beyond the traps laid down by lies,

The handsome dawn will break the ice

And show the path through darkness' plight

Haven’t you ever wondered, about the skies far above us, where the stars twinkling merrily, as though they know something we don’t?
Doesn’t it strike you, that among the millions of planets and stars out there just beyond our reach, lies some entity that is looking down upon us? No, I’m not talking about Gods.
I’m talking about the beings that are so wrongly called Aliens….. Extra terrestrial, we call them.
How can we prove that we ourselves aren’t aliens to our Earth?
Well, speaking like an outsider, I can honestly say that we are definitely not treating the earth like our home….. are we? Neglected – That’s the word that describes our Earth the best.

Can any one of you imagine what we (Mankind) would look like to a visiting alien?
To be blasé, we’d just look like a horrible infestation of lice, on a beautiful planet that was once as blue as ever. An unsightly blemish upon the face of the earth… that’s what our concrete jungles would resemble.
What would the sorry sight signify?

Nothing but a Dying Planet.

The Forsaken Life

Firstly, Happy Diwali to Every One of you.

While Everyone Lights a Lamp Tonight, I however, have sad tale to tell. My poem isn't exactly festive, but its an attempt to describe what is going on in the hearts of some unfortunate souls.

I write this to remind my friends ..... to spare a thought for those few, who are unable to muster up enough happiness from within to light up their lives on this festive occasion. While the World celebrates the end of a monster, They hide alone, grief striken, in a dark corner, where a different monster eats them up. The festive happy faces of other, more fortunate ones, seem to mock their very existnce.

Terminal Illness can be such a killer!

Pain, Anger, rising up like an inferno,
Eyes Blinded with tears, Unknown to the flow
Lost in hatred and injustice in my life
Hurt and Bleeding, in unimaginable Strife

Talents unrealized, potential lost; wasted
So loveless, kicked around, feeling used and tasted
Is this what I’m meant to be? A tool to be recycled?
Mixed with the hopeless, confused and molested?

Evil surrounds me, unrelenting and merciless
Where’s your God now? They ask me; Now, I’m faithless
Look around, your end is drawing closer
Say Goodbye to life, its called u such a loser

How nice to roast on coals so red hot?
Keep glaring at you till my worthless eyes rot?
You keep taking the unfair advantage

Htred leaves me this legacy of my bad fate

Friends lost, staying all alone now,
Biding time till my hourglass tells me to stop
Death now seems my lesser evil, closer friend
Forsaken love; goodbye to all, my brethren………

This is a small piece i wrote when I was in denial mode yesterday. Then I realised that it sums up everything that might be going on in the mind of the poor soul who just found out that he had a terminal illness......

Justice! Yes... But When?

Why did People not see?
Why was it meant to be?
Why was shame everywhere?
Why did there rise despair?

Did my love ever know such bounds?
No one ever heard my silent sounds
Why was I lost in the haze?
Why have the hounds stopped the chase?

Why has hope let go of my hand?
I know not where I truly stand
With towering infernos of mistrust and hate,
Even I know not where rests my Fate,

Won’t they let me rest in peace?
Wont they let my passing ease?
Wont my demons haunt their lives?
Wont my sadness gloom their eyes?

I’ve noticed many criminal cases…. Some have been solved - after Years of fruitless search…
However, Thousands remain unsolved – These are cases which The Police/Govt.,

are as clueless about, as bystanders like us usually are.
This piece is for one such case that has baffled the Nation’s best crime fighters, the CBI.
Yea, I know what some of you are thinking…. Why now? And Why at all?
I have only One Answer… Or more like a question…

His eyes are trained only on fawn

What God would forsake her this way?

Here’s a confession:
I’m an Amateur Poet, and also self made Computer Freak. But More than that, I’m a Linux freak. Linux has been my passion ever since I first laid my eyes on it, about 8 years ago. Many People I’ve met have this very wrong misconception that “Linux is for Geeks”.

I beg to differ.

This Tag Post is Incredibly Lengthy, and leans more on the technical side; more than what you guys have come to expect from a poet like me.

And those of you who have probably never heard of the word “Linux” in this lifetime, save a few times some of the “Software Engineers” among you, might have spit it out just to keep face in the society -- (Of Course I’m kidding….. Honest!! ) -- You guys just might wanna stick around and see what you’ve been missing when you spent all that time Banging your head and your fists, and making some Unmentionable hand-gestures at your XP Screen!

Now On with the tag-post!!
The Tag which inspired such a lengthy post is called The DeskTop Tag.
Prashant Sree Tagged me with this one EONS AGO!!, but I couldn’t do it then because I was in Dharwad (North Karnataka) while my pc was eating dust at Mysore (South Karnataka).
Also, Vinay has tagged me with it as he always does….. (No complaints, Vinay; I Love your Tags)
And now that I’ve finally managed to transport my PC to my new place, here goes!!
There are 2 reasons why my post is so lengthy.

Firstly,

The tag asks the tagged soul to take a screenshot of his desktop and write a few words about the DeskTop. But the tag seems to have no provision for us Geeks who have a dual boot set-up of XP and in my case, Sabayon Linux.

Secondly,

While a single screenshot of a Windows DeskTop would be sufficient, the same does not hold true for the Linux OS that I’m mad about, coz the linux desktop is way cooler than anything anyone could ever scratch up with Windows Vista. Interested? Read on!!

And Please do Enlarge the pics by clicking on them... Then only can you clearly see the Screenshots.... Preferably on a 1024*768 screen!

Here you see an “AlienWare” Wallpaper, with a Vista-type ”Sidebar” (Which is, incidentally, the ONLY THING I like about Windows Vista….), A beautiful looking Media Player playing one of my favorite Songs (Summer of ’69)

Yes, I’m a gr8 Prince of Persia Fan, and that’s one game I can’t Live without, along with the icons of my other favorites, like Kasparov Chessmate, Fifa08, etc.(By the way, The Turbo C link, is plainly just to show off .....

This is a screenshot of my Sabayon Linux Operating System. Sabayon is a Linux Based OS, and like almost all other Linux-Based Operating Systems out there, it’s available for free, under the GNU Public License.
In this screenshot, you can see an adorable “Card Captor Sakura” wallpaper.
After batting your eyelids at the cutie up there, allow me to throw some light on my claim: my claim, that Linux is the best Looking desktop till date, (comparable only to Mac OS of course). Take a look at the next ones……

You can actually rotate or drag the cube and use all 4 desktops…the sides of the 3d cube!!
I’ve never felt the need to use the minimize option ever since!! Just drag a window to another face of the cube and switch between the faces as u work, just by using the scroll-wheel!!

Here you can see the drag and stretch effects available! The windows, are elastic. When maximised, they can be distorted abd stretched, as shown! The windows seem to be nailed at the corners....

The Inheritance of Battle

When thick blood flows as fury's river
Lives are lost and survivors quiver
All but one question comes to my mind,
Answers to which none seem to find

A battle as planned by a monarch or two,
Scheming for glory, which never was their due,
Each aims to annex the lands of the other
The interests of the people are up for no bother

They live a life so costly, their coffers so full
Great food to eat; sweet wine to mull
Monarchs that they are, blood ran so cheap,
Lives of countless taken, others left to weep

Battle for them was naught but a wager
For lives of others - not other's- were in danger
Lives of their people, whom either loved not,
Doomed into servility, Lest outlawed to rot

And so begins a battle, as arrows downpour
Passing through shields, sculling some more
Pandemonium is the name of the game
Death tends to gain, on their fight to fame

When the battle dies down, and the dust has settled,
The vision that awaits you will leave you UNsettled
for farther than your moist eyes will see
blood spattered swords & bodies will be

Aplight so grim, and so very evil,
